Keeping in view the huge losses they will have to incur, senior beaurocrats and ministers have advised the central government to bring a bill to legalize bribe along with the Lokpal bill. Alternatively, they can also make provisions for legal bribe in the Lokpal Bill itself.
Sources in the UPA government have said that the B-team has also threatened them to start a bigger agitation than the recent one, if their demand is not accepted. The agitations will be led by Manna Karore, a retired air force pilot.
